વિશે DietPlanIndia
A reference site for Indian meal planning. Not a coaching programme, not a supplement shop.
Why this exists
Search for an Indian diet plan and you get the same page a hundred times: a seven-day table with a dish name in each cell, a calorie number beside it that nobody can verify, and a north Indian menu presented as if the whole country eats it. Half of them tell you to have quinoa for breakfast and a scoop of whey at 4 pm.
This site does two things differently. Every number is computed from published Indian composition data and the arithmetic is printed on the page, so you can check it. And the food is food people actually cook and can actually afford — dal, rajma, chana, curd, eggs, soya chunks, peanuts and whatever vegetable is cheap this week.
What it is not
It is not medical or nutrition advice, and I am not a dietitian — which is exactly why the site sticks to publishing arithmetic and eating patterns rather than telling anyone what to eat for a condition. The diabetes-friendly and PCOS-friendly pages are general patterns published for information, and they say so at the top, in the middle and at the bottom.
Who runs it
DietPlanIndia is built and maintained by Amit Sharma, a marketer based in Auckland, New Zealand, alongside a family of free data tools published at amit.marketing — including ThaliFacts, whose dataset every number here is computed from, and SehatCheck, which holds the calculators.
How it is funded
Advertising, through Google AdSense, and links to my own fitness challenge at PeakForm. Nothing here is a paid placement, no supplement brand has any involvement, and no figure has ever been adjusted to suit an advertiser.
Corrections
Data corrections come before everything else. Tell me and it gets fixed on the next build. Every reference this site rests on is listed, dated and last-checked on the sources page.

The people behind these sites
Follow the build
This site and nine others like it are built and photographed by two people: Amit Sharma — behind the build; Geeta Patel — the poses, demonstrated. New work goes up on Instagram and Facebook before it reaches a page here.
Following changes nothing here — every page stays open, with no account and no wall.
